Running with Asha
Asha for Education is a volunteer run organization aiming to catalyze socio-economic change in India through education. The objectives of the group are:
- To provide access to education for underprivileged children in India
- To promote universal education and decrease child labor
- To support grass roots initiatives in deprived and marginalized communities in India
- To address, whenever possible, other issues affecting human life such as health care, environmental and socio-economic issues, women's issues, human rights issues, etc.

I am running the 5Km race on November 1st 2009.
The reason I decided to run the five kilometers is because I wanted to help raise money and send it to one of the wonderful projects that Asha is going to help. My goal is to raise one hundred dollars or more to support one project. My other goal is to complete this race in less than an hour. Please help me raise money and it will be for a good cause.
